Fence — an Escape from Tarkov trader: buys everything and sells a random assortment; standing affects Scav extracts and cooperation. Gives 14 quests, 1 of them are required for Kappa.
The conflict had barely started when Fence began setting up anonymous outlets for buying and selling goods. Keeping incognito, he nevertheless managed to put together a well-organised smuggler network, operating all over the Norvinsk region.
How to unlock Fence
The trader is locked by default and is unlocked through a quest chain.

Fence quests on the radar
- Quest objectives are marked on the map, and the planner shows “Can finish this raid”.
- Needed items are highlighted in loot by the “Quest” filter, and the key by a tag on the card.
- Players and bosses around the quest zone are visible in advance, with the “aiming at you” alert.

How to raise standing with Fence?
Complete Fence's quests (12 quests give standing), buy from and sell to the trader, and do not fail tasks. Fence standing also increases for extracting as a Scav and for co-op extracts.
