In-game description
A .50 Action Express FMJ cartridge (12.7x33mm) with a 300 grain flat-nose bullet, which provides an enormous stopping power. One of the most powerful unitary pistol cartridges in the world and has a significant lethality.
Against which armor
Penetration 40 is above the resistance of class 4 armor (40) — while such armor is intact, the round penetrates it more often than not. Against class 5, penetrations are rare until the armor is worn down.
For example, the vests it can defeat: 6B23-2 body armor (Mountain Flora), Interceptor OTV body armor (UCP), 6B13 assault armor (Flora). The full table is in the armor classes guide.
